FlytBase and Pix4D Partner to Streamline Drone Data Processing Workflows

San Jose, California (USA), July 22, 2024 – FlytBase and Pix4D have announced a new strategic partnership aimed at streamlining drone data processing workflows. This collaboration will enable FlytBase users to upload their drone-captured data directly to Pix4D’s PIX4Dcloud platform, significantly reducing manual interventions and simplifying project management.
As automated drone operations become more common, the frequency and volume of data collection have increased. Previously, operators had to plan and execute flights on one platform, manually sort data, and then upload it to another application for processing. The new integration allows users to sync their data directly from FlytBase to PIX4Dcloud, where it will be processed into high-resolution maps and 3D models.
BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line-of-Sight)
FlytBase also offers advanced automation features for safe and consistent drone operations, integrating with beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) solutions such as parachutes and detect-and-avoid systems. This partnership aims to enhance operational efficiency and reduce complexity for users across various industries.
